What a cool idea.
I laughed. I cried. I laughed again. Well not really, however, I like the sentiment and agree that an institution of higher learning isn’t the place to learn coding. It’s an excellent place to learn about critical thinking, pushing boundaries, and creative pursuits. I do think you have to look for those instructors that will nurture that - quit finding the “easiest” instructor and look for the one that you might learn something from.
“Your entire world has been this horribly inaccurate model of the real world where you were basically trained to be a good little factory worker. You were told to leave at a bell, come to school on time, eat at a certain time, sit in your desk, don’t be creative, shut up, and you think there’s really a permanent record.”
Yep. That about sums it up. Universities give you the freedom to fail or succeed in any way that you see fit.
I spent 2 hours last night trying to recover and eventually recreating my iTunes playlist just because it hates me.
Check out the overages on the “cheaper” plan. They are just trying to milk people for overages. Boo.
